Lower skill level, anybody interrested?

I am checking if there is any interrest for easier mods, like Reynen mod in simple version where there is almost impossible to lose.
I have noticed a lot of players having problems beating the SP or maybe somebody just want to play with firepower and get that revenge they have been thirsting after?
Well if there is an interrest I will talk to Reynen and other mod makers about using their mods to make easier versions.

Credit to real authors is of course a MUST!

Ok, I am gonna go after this...
I have some Noobie players... who are having trouble with the game.
And I have modified things like weapons etc.. and ships...
But, I don't want to ruin the storyline too much by giving them the BEST ships right away.
DOES ANYONE know how to change the amont of money it takes to get to the next level? for any given level? Or how the game engine knows when you go up a level for mission completion?
Thanks.

I make slightly harder mods and the one common theme i get from my feedback is that the players like my mod because all the others are already too easy.

However, difficulty levels are not just what ship your in. There are lots of ways to make things easier or harder without changing how good the AI pilots are.

For instance you can remove all the tradelane encounters so using the tradelanes is safe. You can reduce the difficulty of zones in all systems which makes the AI choose lower settings. Trouble is, in doing so you get easier ships so you never see the harder ships.

I prefer making some systems easier and others harder so the player can hang around the system they feel most comfortable it yet still enjoy the hard stuff when they feel like it.

This is in keeping with freelancers original design too.

Giskard

Have you tried a Battle Royale system Giskard? I understand that despite the heavy load on the system, its one heck of a fight to see.

The originall game is well balanced for me.
Some simple mods puts all weapons and good ships in Liberty, so if you are finding a game to hard you may use such one. And the secret is that to win a story mission you don't have to kill all ships around. Just do what you are told to do. Running away is sometimes a good solution to get out of trouble.

I was thinking of a simple mod with a quick reputation build up on Xeno killing and a profitable trade route in NY. It will be called Lazy Lancer So you have money and nobody likes to kill you.
But that will be a spoiler like hell. I'm not sure if it will do good. If you think yes, I may give my half hour to materialise that idea.

actually it is a bad thing to do. It will benefit only those lazy people who boast that they finished it quickly and will lose interest on the game.

lazy people die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Working hard to earn... but too lazy to do something...
