npc''s dropping loot

oik now i have edited my transport to be mpable now, and i set the cargos at what i think reasonable amount trying to keep sum reality and stuff so they are set at most 10000. now in sp my ships only carry however muhc i set the cargo was at. i was expecting this. now when i kill an npc transport will it still drop the same amount of loot, or is this pending on the total cargo?

the type of cargo, and the quantity is set in Loadouts.ini for all factions by ship type. Larger transports are set in Loadouts_utility.ini.

small ships add this line: cargo = commodity_gold, 50
Commodity names are in the Goods.ini
Large ships add this line: cargo = commodity_pharm, 50, hpcargo01
the larger the ship the more cargo HP

In MP games they will only be carrying as much as the have room for. So in your case the cargo ships will be carrying 10,000 units of cargo. The actually cargo they carry can be found in the file: commodities_by_faction.ini (or something like that). You can also do as the post above stated and have them carry explicit cargo by defining it in the loadout but then you loose the variety of cargo present in the original game.
