then came here and discovered it ad gorn oll qoiet loike.

i vote we use the quiet time to make the "search" button fill three-quarters of the screen and boobytrap the rest - and try and figure out how easy it would be to expand the number of buildings on each planet and allow you to trade between buildings like between planets - and if we manage all that and recover from the resulting hangover maybe find a way of buying hangars - an ingame call to a station creation prog maybe then we could have persistant worlds and get a really good set of petty vendettas going. i always find they add such bile and fury to a game

and if by some miracle thats possible we make special jump gates that actually jump between servers (possible use for the black hole?) - cant really have a good raiding party till we get that.

ooh ooh ! ! ! and ive always wanted a puppy - can we get one??


oh sod it - why dont we just get landing on a planet to lauch hardwar - they're just about able to make map edits so we could add a space port that launched freelancer again - the server thing would remember where we were anyway.

well need a couple of crays to run it ill grant you but what a game it would be.

i think ive just remembered why they made me start drinking - gonna go crack a newcastle brown ale before the men in white coats manage to kick the door in again. sure the floors nice and comfy - but just you wait till your nuts start to itch ;-(

Well i like his first idea about the search button.

I can rig up some booby traps that trigger when people use the new message link before the search link on their first posts

Tell me what you think.

1) Blackhole. Sucks the user and his computer into a hole the size of an atom.
2) Sunburn. Makes the users monitor radiate lots of heat.
3) Keyboard ship. Causes the users keyboard to take off and ram the user in the side of the head several times.

This is a really amusing thread.

i like the idea of "raiding" other servers, i really dont see how oyu could do it without using trojans and "hacking" into the victim's server, but just imagine, you could get 20 ppl to jump in with titans and sabres and eagles even though they dont have accounts on that server, and go hunt down a bunch of players with extreme prejudice.

lol yeah, it would be mean, rude, and incredibly unfair, but the darker corner of my mind loves the idea .

We could add a filter that sends them straight to the trash can or straight to page containing 1 sentence in a large font. USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION!

Or, post all of those questions on a forum than can't be viewed by anyone with over 100 posts, that way they'd just yell at each other when they didn't get their answers handed to them on a silver platter... hopefully by the time they hit 100 posts they would have found the search button or given up completely. Ok, I know... but I can dream right?
