How about changing all the ships in FL into modern aircraft and Have Bretonia turned into UK, Libery into US, etc..............

It would look wierd, but would be cool, imagine having the Liberty Partiot turned into the f-16 and the Defender into F-22 or F-15, the Star Flier could be an F-5 tiger and the Bloodhound a Mig 21 and Wolfhound the Mig 29?

The transports turned into various airliners, and the cap ships and docks turned into modern world versons, wierd, but cool.

most likely, but i have no mod experience, thought i'd field the idea if anyone llikes the sound of it.

You could just jack some of the various free aircraft meshes floating around the net. But then, once you have a galaxy full of aircraft, it looks weird and ill-fitting.
