REBALANCE MOD PROBLEM!!!!

Ok, I installed the Rebalance MOD as was suggested to me, and I'm liking it so far basically, except a few small problems. Sometimes in bars, the dialog box will say someone has something to say, but when I talk to them, the dialog is empty.

Also, the much bigger problem, is with some of the ships, it doesn't show the texture, only a black outline with lines where the polygons are supposed to be.

This is extremely annoying being I've enjoyed the MOD very much otherwise. I hope someone can help me as otherwise one day I might be buying a ship that turns out to be a big black empty polygon.

What ships have you had that problem with. I've tried the Cylon fighter, the Hercules II, the X Wing and the Centurion from Privateer and all appeared fine on my screen.

Well, several ships had this problem, one was a huge one I couldn't afford yet, I forgot the name but the description said few humans have ever seen this ship and its incrediblely powerful or some stuff like that. And the other ship I had problems with so far is one of the Rogue fighters, I forgot the exact name, its something Mk. III. Both of these just show up as black polygons.

Well, if the last one is the "Cobra MK III", thats a ship from the C64 "Elite".
So it's supposed to be just polygons....

Don't know about the others, though.

Did you go into the ships folder and run the .BAT files? Some Rebalance ships come with more than one texture, and if you don't choose a .bat the game might show the blank.tga.

Oh, well I guess it was designed to be a big black nothing then lol. I've never heard of that before, but oh well. Seems kinda a wierd thing to look at though, not much eye candy, looks more like something wrong then something designed to be a big empty black thing with blue showing the edges lol.
