Slipstream XJ-376 Heavy Fighter

The general place to discuss MOD''ing Freelancer!

Post Fri Aug 08, 2003 10:52 pm

I downloaded the ship the first time I saw it was available. Sorry I didn't write back sooner... I forgot where this thread was! I kept looking in the editing forum futher down. Anyway, great job, and glad to see that you allowed the modders to add this one without the use of FLMM. I put it in and made a new gun for it as well. I like the handling and the speed, though I did modify the engines as well, but that's the advantage of modding... You can do what you want to the stuff you have.

Thanks again for a great looking, great handling fighter... Nice Job.

I am still waiting for someone to make a freighter that is just a rectangle with a half cylinder across the front for a "windshield" and about 10-12 guns on it and call it a Freighter/Gunship. Could that be you???

or could some one send me a complete file of it that is installed with FLMM

sorry about that i'm currently drawing sketches on how to use FLMM i'm not good at programming. I think the instructional file that i have sent with the distribution is in order as you can see that there is a corresponding filename in each items. the filename are the files needed to be opened by BINIQDU so in order for you to correctly paste it.

shiparc.ini ---- file located at data/ships folder

files below are located at data/equipment folder
engine_equip.ini
misc_equip. ini
weapons_equip.ini
weapon_good.ini
market_ships.ini
market_goods.ini
goods.ini

just cut and paste it in the appropriate ini files as described.

also you must create the FIREBASE/Slipstream folder for the sur and cmp files

Don't worry i'm currently creating that annoying xml of the FLMM so it can be inserted correctly. also the slipstream.dll should be the seventh (7) resource file in the freelancer.ini...

hope this helps

BINIQDU is the decryptor for the ini files. it is in the Download page.
You can use this link.

BINIQDU ver. 1.1
or you can find its latest download at the download page.

Hope this helps
