Modified cargo hold

Hi !
I edited the cargo hold of my Rheinland Cruiser to 1000 to make it more realistic but i cant tractor the number i inserted in the shiparch.ini.
The only way to make a full hold is buying goods.

Plz help !


PS: It´s the same with my modified shield batteries and nanobots...

certain things like missiles, nanobots and batteries can only be tractored in to your ship/game limit. i.e 50 missiles(or what ever you set the max to), nanobots/battries upto the amount your ship can use .after thes points are reached it will ignore thes items. guns and cargo can be tractored in until your hold is full.

if you make a change to your ship you have to buy it again to see certain changes (cant remember which ones, but some seem to carry over from saved games)

so please forgive me if i havent answered you question (mostly cause i dont understand your question)

For example the cargo space of my rheinland cruiser (TNG Mod) is set to 1000 (original 190) and its empty.
Now i find 300 tons of loot in space and i want to tractor it.
But i can only tractor 190 of the available 300 untits.
So why is that ?

Hmm maybe its because the server dont know that i can tractor more.

exactly my friend. see this is one of the server side things. Basically any values u set will work for sp because its running off your files. There is alot of lee way with freelancer like u can add ships tobe playable as long as they are already in the server files u know things like that. but in this case this is a server side problem. same goes for adding hardpoints onto a ship that the server fioles dont match u wont fire any ammo although ur ammo decrease and it makes noise. when in doubt if dsumthing doesnt work in mp try it in sp simple as that.

just think it this way if it doesnt work on mp chnaces are it will work in sp just work along those lines and you'll be fine
