Is there anyway to edit the Freelancer saved games?

Yes, there is a nice little command line program availible in the downloads section which will decrypt them

Ok I downloaded the program and no have no idea what to do with it, could someone please help me compile and run it
I have no experience programming with the C language

Download the one called "FLS1" in the general Downloads section. It's already compiled, and includes a registry script to add a decrypt option to the saved game file context menu.
