Hello... Quick question

I have been playing with modding for about 2 weeks now....

So i finally decided to start my own. I have been playing with adding new ships... I added the large train no problem. I wanted to add another ship sotried adding the milfalcon.... this is what i did.

took the script xml file and edited the files it says to edit... done opened my 2d sys creator and the train shows up.... no milfalcon..... ok stupid me, i have to put it in a custom dll. <--- this is where i get lost.. how do i assign it a name in the dll. in my scott_recources.dll it is the firts entry.... now i cant really give that ship a info_name of 1.... right?

so i serached these forums... nothing

found the zen tutoral.... he says " you will need the FL INI Referer.exe here :"
i have search everywhere for this app... cant find it..

so the real question is where can i this app?....or... is there another way to do this?

Thanks in advance,
Scott Anderson

As you say it is the first entry in your .dll i assume you have put the info into your .dll and put the .dll in freelancer.ini. After that you need to work out the ids_ numbers. These are based on what number .dll they are (based on the order they are in in freelancer.ini) and what table/string number they have. There is a formula to work it out, but i dont know it 'cause i use FL INI referer

You can get both the INI referer and the formula somewhere in the forums, try searching editing tutotrials/utilities for 'INI ref' or similar. Zens tutorial also tells you the ids_ nmubers for a .dll in position 7 in freelancer.ini. If you place you scott_resources .dll 7th in freelancer.ini you should be able to use zens numbers.
