files aren''t saving as .ini.

I'm trying to implement capitol ships into Freelancer using the tutorial, but every time I try to do the first step (save files like capitolship_liberty.ini) the text file doesn't save as an ini, just as the name capitolship_liberty.ini. I know its not working because all the other ini files don't have .ini at the end, and the little logo beside the words are text logo's instead of the other ones.

couple of questions - are you using bini or the gui version?

does turning off "hide known file extensions" im windoze help? - as in letting you see what its saving it as?

why not just (after the step above) just delete ".txt" from the end of your modified file?

let me know if none of these help and ill try and think of something else

The .ini files with Freelancer are just text files with the .ini extension. Just save the file as .txt then rename it to .ini
