New type of server urgently needed!

The FL community desperately needs a third type of server, perhaps with a server-only mod.

I propose calling it PvPwP ; Player Vs. Player with Permission.

The goal is to only allow PvP with consenting parties. No more PKing, Dock Camping, Back-Shooting.

Functionally, you open a Trade Request with the player you want to Duel.

Above the 'Credits' button is 'Duel'. If both players accept 'trade' they can kill each other.

or you could make a dueling glove commodity that you trade to show a duel.
There could even be a dueling system fit for dueling. You could have PvPwP in there.

Thats an incredibly good idea that you came up with.

I don't know if you can do this in MP, but disable all the gates and holes out of NewYork except for say... colorado or something, take all the NPCs out of colorado, add more in the south of NewYork. Then Colorado becomes the dueling ground, with Newyork being the area where you come to level up and repair. Make an easy cash fix in Newyork so that people can make money easier and then apply the dueling glove thing mentioned earlier. Great idea!

Hmmm.. well if you'd all care to check the front page of the Reactor, you might notice the Deathmatch post. I didn't do it, but appearantly someone has...

D'oh!

Well I myself would instantly exit that system to get a better ship and better equipment. I would most likely get a drake or something. It says that it has the most powerful ships but the Eagle Sabre and Titan are the most powerful but are some of the least manuverable.

mods would be good too coz even the nomads would be a formitable challenge coz if u can out manouvre them they suk coz the fighter has no shields & the battle ship only can have the levels that are in the NY system even if it had level 10 shields if u have everyone on them they dont stand much of a chance especially of u have level 10 guns although sometimes they dont do much coz i have 4 level 10 guns on a modded ship i have & they hessains have best shields against em it only takes i few extra shots tho.

My original intent here was to end dock camping and bushwacking.
Is this a doable mod? Or turn on/off PvP on a system by system basis?
