Here are a couple of drawings of a new ship I have been working on for Freelancer. It is available to a modder for inclusion in a Mod.

I call it the Rapier although I'm not fussed about the name - if it needs to be changed, I don't really mind.

I had in mind that it would be a LIGHT, fast interceptor/fighter with atmospheric capability. 6 - 8 guns, 2 missile/disruptor slots, turret, mine, cm etc. 2 engines and thrusters with fairly heavy armour (say 4200) Rated to a max of 7 with one set of guns + turret rated 8. MAX shields 7.

My thoughts on the info card:

Designed by John Harrier and Henry Gibson for the (Bretonian Guards)? This ship was originally intended as an atmospheric strike fighter/interceptor. It found immediate acceptance by the (police/military) to counter incursions by criminals and smugglers...
Armed with 2 heavy guns and 6 lighter guns plus a heavy turret and equipped with 2 missile launchers and constructed using the latest plasteel/polymer composites this ship is a force to be reckoned with... (Etc. blurb, blurb)

The model shown was done in milkshape and has only the first level of smoothing done; I have to add textures, hardpoint’s, engine(s), running lights etc. to it yet. I need some help in that area.
