Its said (and I've said it myself) that the speed guage in FL will NOT go above 990 or so. Well I've proved us all wrong. I was playing around in my new system and I had to cruise away from a fight (6 fleets from the tutorial, 2 Ku, 2 Li, 2 Br) so I did and, naturally, I escaped. I've jumped up the cruise speed to something rediculous, and when I hit z to turn around and see if anyone was following me I found my speed guage read -2513! I guess it does go about 990, but only in negative numbers . I took a screenie but the thing is 2 meg, so if anyone wants it I'll convert it then.
