i dont know if it is possible, but it would be great if there were a way to script/mod freelancer to allow link fire.

Linked fire is pretty simple. right now, when you push fire, freelancer shoots off everything in your surrently active weapon group. I like to call this the Alpha-strike (i love mech games) Link fire would chain those weapons together to increase fire rate. the same effect is achieved by pressing 1-2-3-4 in rapid succession.
