how do you edit weapons damage?

easy oopen up your weapon_equip.ini and use these ids numbers below to find you wep and u chnage hull damage in the munition section for your wep. now if u are playing on mp your wep damage will not chnage even though when u look at the wep info in the game it says its diff it wont chnage unlesss the servers files match yours, but it will work on ur server if u make one and in single player

Thanx, what happened it that i had the idea of making a repair weapon by putting the damage to negative, could work, i think, the comp will just register it as damage but negative, like anti-damage, and by the way, how the hell do you find a good .ini editor?

biniqdu is bery good dont use bini command line and be careful with biniqdu cause when u have multiple things open u might save the file as another one of the u have opened

setting weapons to do negative damage doesnt work...I'm trying to figure out a way to make a gun act like a nanobot or shield battery...w/o the game crashing...

you need to get bini.exe to view the .ini files of freelancer, then you just drop the files on the bini icon and then you can read the ini files
