The LancersHQ feels dead in comparison to the excellent diatribes discussed here. I can safely say I am a proud member of this forum.
As a question to anybody more up on the news of Freelancer, than I: Since Chris Roberts is gone, as is Erin, who would be in charge of designing an add-on or a sequel. Or is Freelancer likely to be a franchise gone the way of WC and Origin?
I know we modders will keep it alive no matter what. But the fact that we had a dreamer with no sense of financial viability and a corporation with no dream, I'm afraid we may never see a more complete game according to the grand ideals listed in so many trade mags years ago.
