dll-files and mod manager

I started modding now, I added some new weapons and everything is working fine. I only have one problem: I can chage the weapons names in the dll-files, but this only works as long as I change them in the freelancer directory, when I put the equipresources.dll in a mod manager there are no weapon names and infos anymore. That's quite bad when I want to make a mod withougt overwriting the original dll-file. So what is the problem and what do I have to do to change it?

you have to make a copy call it something else .put your names into that .

the problem you have is when using the mod manger it is making your ids-name/info into the wrong place cause it adds it onto then end of the ddls.

Ok thanx. Now I know how to make new names only the infocards I still don't know but I surely will find out how to change them too.
