How can i add another shield for my fighter??

i want to use two shield for my sabre
anyone can help me?

Why do you need two shields???When you can just edit the amount of HP a shield has...

didn't it mean both the Outcasts and i would have a stronger shield?

but the part of SHield does't work

add another shield on another hardpoint of ur ship (eg tractor origin)
I did that and it worked

but if you do, it's only for show... u can't equip it

the game will only allow 1 shield per ship however hard u mod it

There are two different types of shields in the game, there are the type that you can buy, and there are the type that the NPCs use, modding your shields wont do a thing to the NPC shields

There is a way to have multiple shields, on Pegasus's (sry if that name is wrong) Cruiser, he has put on four shields

dude having 2 shields is possible i have done it when u have ur two shields its like adding more shield health catch my drift. Wellu need the .cmp editor and depending what ship u want to edit u need to find like an open hardpoint well actually 2 u can use running lights thats what i do i dont create new ones or anything thats when it gets real hard. Buit u need the hardpoint to say mount02
and then pick another hardpoint to be shield02 then if u look in your ship arch where it says shield_link = copy the line above or whatever change the sheild settings if u want and instead of mount, shield01 put mount02, shield02 and it should work. Now im warning you when you equip your second shield your comp might crash because of the xtra shield or mabye mines just not fast enough but whatever. when it crashes just go back tot he server and your second shield will be mounted along with you first one. ALSO you need to go into i think st_equip and chnage the shields properties of the shield u want to have be bale to be combined and if u want all of them to be able to be combined u need to changer the line that says combinable = false to combinable = true tell me how it goes if u need help IM me on aim SuBZeRo69069

I can understand with ppl whom want more weapons and lights mounted, but why shield? One ship need only one shield cuz the purpose of the shield is protecting the ship. If you seeks more protection I can give the true invinciable ugly nomad shield.

now i have done a "wonderful"job just as you say
i have now 4 shields
and also i changed sth to add Avd.Champion Shield to planet Crete
so i use then two Adv. Champion ,one Adv. Brigandine and oneAdv. Barrier
hehe
