Can anyone edit, to make all ships able to have class 10 wea

I would try edit myself... but when I open the file, I'm lost. I don't know which is which ship and what is what... and I really like the lousy Liberty Light Fighter ship...

search the editing tutorial forums, topic "Compilation" (i guess) has all the link u need to do anything u want yourself

This is for the libery light figher (the ship you start out with). Go to the Shiparch.ini and scroll down to the ship with this: ids_name = 237015

Now scroll a little further till you see this:

hp_type = hp_gun_special_3, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_2, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_1, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03

The HpWeapon01, 02, and 03 stand for weapon hardpoints. The hp_gun_special_x before them stands for the level of gun that can be mounted on these hardpoints. To get the 3 hardpoints to hold up to level 10 guns, just add these lines:

hp_type = hp_gun_special_10, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_9, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_8, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_7, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_6, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_5, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_4, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03

Now it should look like this:

hp_type = hp_gun_special_10, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_9, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_8, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_7, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_6, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03

Unless you use infinity power or only nomad class 10 weapons, or you have to edit the power usage of some class 10 weapons, otherwise there is no point to carry class 10 on a starfiler, cuz you will be out of power in one shot.
