Auto turret?

Auto turret?

I have noticed in weapon_equip.ini, this line shows up in quite a few weapons: auto_turret = false

Now, this sounds to me like a switch to let AI fire guns. Has anyone mucked around with it, does it do anything?

Here you can set things like how many rounds of ammo it has, the amount of damage each round does, the range, and the accuracy. These are all straightforward, except for the "titleString" value which appears to be unused

i have tried setting it to 'true' but it doesn't seem to have any obvious effect.

Maybe the target wasn't in turret range?

Just checked it out myself.

Can't tell any difference.
I edited the salamanca turret and it already was in auto setting.
So i reverted it to tell any difference........ but nope.

You do not edit this in the ini files.
