Argh! Those stupid hardpoints are acting up again

I've made a model, but I can't get the hardpoints right. My weapons point straight up, or (in the case of the two that I've tried to fix) shoot forward, but as the angle increases so does their distance from the ship! Anyone have any ideas? I've already looked at the Hardpoints v.2 tutorial, and as far as I know I'm following it, but the guns keep moving away from the ship...

If your gun doesn't stay attached to the ship as you aim it chances are you screwed up the orientation node. You can also check my own tutorial on hardpoints in the tutorial forum, which is slightly more mathematical and (in my opinion) explains it more thoroughly and clearly.

Glitch:

Can you post or provide the original models so we can see where/how your hardpoints are and the orientation? It is difficult to diagnose problems without seeing the patient.

Sure, I'll e-mail it to you (and anyone else who wants it) right away. Thing is, I was moving the CD/T points around last night and the stupid thing overwrote my hardpoint settings. As far as I know, only 2 of the guns work right, and one turret.
