Cluster missile launcher?

Has anyone tried this? I've gone to the cmp files for the missile turrets and placed several extra firing points at different angles. So far it works for beam weapons but i've yet to try it on missile platforms. Would be interesting to play a missile heavy fighter that fires 4 missiles to every launcher when you have 4 launchers.

you could use the Nomad Cruise Disruptor. I have modded it to give it the power of a missle. It does not use ammo, it uses energy.

What i meant was that if you fired the launcher once, 4 or so missiles come out at different angles before zooming in on the target.

datd be coo, 4 modded no CD launchers launching 4 missles each, totaling sixteen, heh, thatd be fun, since you wouldn't have to pay for the ammo.

Just like those old 2d arcade shooter super guns with 3 firing angles "die pixelated flying saucers!", heh

You may want to look into the gundam type missle launcher mod. it's one of the new mods of the FL Mod Manager, with some modifications, it could be the wep ur looking for.

That particular mod just changes the missile behaviour. What i propose is adding on extra firing slots on the launcher itself so it spawns several missiles rather than one. Only problem is that i have difficulties reading the orientations and making them stick. I can change the firing locations but that looks a little strange.

I've been working on something similar for my "Aliens" dropship that has 2 missile pods mounted on it. I spent a couple of hours on it and made a seperate model for the pods. However it would never be visible or fire. I had it set to have 6 missiles per pod. I tried to modify the existing launchers to do the same with no luck. I'll be working on it again this weekend, if I come up with anything I'll let you know.
