Battleships: Quick chat.

Hello all.

Has anybody else found the battleships to be rather tame when used in encounters ?

I have no issues with mine other than they make easy targets for players. I have plans to work on a new script that will make them more aggressive but for now I was just wondering if all battleship mods where the same in this respect.

They're tame for a number of reasons:

1) the most powerful capship turret does a WHOPPIN' 200 points of damage - and even those hardly put a dent in class 10 shields
2) battleship hulls is rated at a meagre ~60K (roughly six times a Sabre's armor) - a strength of 600 K would be a realistic figure
3) you're hammering them with L10 guns as opposed to the L6 weapons you carried in the SP campaign - makes a BIG difference

Fixing these "bugs" is a no-brainer, but the files you need to mod in order to do so (shiparch.ini and weapon_equip.ini) don't synchronize to clients AFAIK.
