Preventing FL from smoothing custom ship models ...

Hi folks,

I finally managed to get some sort of space ship into FL, but ingame it is looking way smoother than in the textured view of Milkshape.
Does ne1 know how I can make the ship look in FL like it can be seen in Milkshape ?

greets

Azrael

Hehe, try turning on the "smooth shading" option in the milkshape viewport, it will probably look a little different.

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world:
those who understand binary, and those who don't.

That was the first thing I did .
Looking the same except the blue "texture" is missing....

perhaps because of the lightning in freelancer?
(dunno rally, sorry...)

maybe, but in FL there are many ships having "sharp edges". Must have something to do with the smoothing groups, but changin them didn't help.. : /.

it's probably a milkshape issue.. you need to "unsmooth" the model..
don't know how you do that in milkshape though...
