How do u chnage ur starting ship

ok i did a forum search and i got two diff answers and im not sure which one is right,

i thinkt he file im supposed to chnage is in the charaters folder but when i chnage **** in there it says that the name i ave chosen has been taken on every server i choose and to check the name isnt rewaly taken i type in like vjgsufdgblkualg;agua random letters and it still says it im all confused i want the dagger to be my starter ship with 20000 if anyone can put int he values for me it owuld be great

assuming this is the right file witht eh right info whhat do i chnage to make me be able to have adagger as a starter ship

o i dunno never played that game i dun remeber where i got it from from some movie i think mabye fromspace above and beyond(thats a kik fuucckking asssss show)

hey i tried that but i get an error saying that the name i have choosen is always in use in every server and it says that for everyname i take i cant use and dude i aint "spamming" on purpose when i got questions dont u ask em?

change entry:
ship = bw_fighter <- bw_fighter = dagger

then open : /DATA/SHIPS/loadouts.ini (use bini !)
and change the entry MP_ge_fighter to what you want

...about the name, i don't know. Why wanna change it?

well i dunno wanna changeanything i dont have to i just want it so i can use dagger as starter ship and well also to get it to work u know?
