HELP on SHIP STATS!!!!

hi, noob here, so i was wondering can any1 tell me how to fix my shield from crashing in one shot and my heath gettin down to 10% with a collision. any info is apreciated, thanx...

you did not say which shield you are using but the file you want to edit is
st equip.ini which is in equipment

well...i edited the st_equip file and put more shielding and regen rate on it...and that is all...did the same to the ship too...more hit points..but now...when i get shot once, my shield is gone and second shot my armor went down to 10% health...so can some1 tell me why is this happening?

Best way is to get the ID-friendly terms download in EDTIT UTILTY thread. Find the shield you currently have. Go to goods.ini and edit the shield strength of that shield. Same with your current ship hitpoints.
