Escort Ships: Buying/Hiring

Hello.

I was wondering if anybody had tried making Escort ships hirable/buyable for the player. The AI uses them to escort prisoners in Newyork. How hard would be to get an AI to escort the player for a small fee ?

I think the trick here is adding an AI script to do the job but ive not seen a command in there that would name the target to guard.

Looks it not like privateer 2 which you can hire
Cargo Ship and WIngman...

Wish they have it but some of the original effect was remove
Trent so quiet, you can't taunt the enemy, even during flight.

But what do you expect in 1 CD....
