New Account ID without Reinstall??????

Its possible to change the Account ID without Reinstall?????

The account ID is stored in the registry, but you shouldn't change it. I don't advise changing any account IDs unless the game generated one for you, which, as far as I know, only happens on a fresh install.

Click start button
Move to run...Click
type regedit

Move to the directory
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\\freelancer\1.0

and delete these keys

Installkey
MpAccountname
MpAccontnamesig

DELETE NO OTHER KEYS!!!

close registry
No need to reboot
run game and go to multiyplayer and it will generate a new key

first of all... that doesnt work. the only way to get a new ID on the same machine is by reformating the drive.

if you uninstall and install, its the same.

delete any or all of the keys.... its the same.

t'is always be the case until you reformat the drive and reset the values that FL works with to generate the keys.
