The ships will be in the game once game "x" finishes their mod.It is a huge mod so it might take some time.Anyway I will start to work on ships once I get needed programs, probably next week.

i think i found a way to make moving gundams. you remember the revolute hardpoints if we make some with the name Hpleft_arm and HpRight_arm and create the arms and place them in the weapon_equip and good ini maby we could move the arms in the game

i am only atacking the people who want to kill me but what if they kill me first

Gundam Leader, I thought the same thing and I posted it to madcatmk8, but he hasn't said if he got it to work (or even tried it). If your going to try it, also make a gundam head model and put it on a hard point as well. So then you would have the head looking where the arms are pointing. I've made a perfect gun and sound effect for the head guns.

If you make the arms too long the gun effect may come out of the arm instead of the gun the arm is holding if the effect starts at the hardpoint. But I'm not sure how they coded the effect to where it starts.

Maybe you should put the laser gun in the right hand and a shield model in the left hand. The shield would be like a wing and could be blown off after enough damage. And when the damage is fixed you would get it back like a wing comes back.

Mayebe someone could make guns/turrets that look like arms and then you could put them on the hardpoints, voila moving hands

Ever thought of adding the arms as revolutes and then having hardpoints on those within that?

Yes, Gamma, quite possible I think. But I'm not sure whether the Freelance core engine would allow arms and legs to move independently. I'm starting to imagine a weird looking Gundam pointing its two arms and two legs at an enemy ship, but a static vertical Gundam with two cockpit views might be possible; one when on battle (standing/verticle), and the second when on cruise (horizontal).

Anybody?

lol if you have a gundam ready mabey we should figur out haw to pilot it maby
5-5 players 1 for the right arm top and bottom 1 for the left arm left leg and right leg 1 for the head and 1 for the torso so every body has to defend his place

Or maybe take it in small steps. Start with gundams like Wing Zero or Airmaster(burst) (The ones that transform into Aerospace fighters.) and just model them in flight mode. That way you will at least have something to satiate your eager audience while you work on the humanoid models.

As for the legs, if you can set the shoulders on revolutes so that they will point at the enemy, (which I imagine would take some hefty coding on your part) you might be able to code the legs to also be on hip revolutes except that they won't point at the enemy. Instead it will allow the legs to "lag" behind the body when it moves. Body goes left, legs take a moment and follow along (connected at the hips of course so the body goes left and the feet point down and to the right.) If you don't want to bother, you could always just do the one leg bent at the knee the other with the toe pointed, like this:

I am awesomer than you.
