CRashing the game

Well, I seem to have a problem with the game. This is in the editing forum for a reason btw. Seems to me that frequently when I edit files make mods etc. and then I do luach FlServ with FLMM, then launch FL, the game won't let me connecct to the lan game? I restored backups etc. still happened. This is in the fl mod section because 1. I believe this is problem with a mod I made and 2. I find the people in this section more competent than elsewhere.

Did you run any SP with your mod installed? The only thing I can think of is if you tested it in SP, you might have a corrupt/incompatible savegame. Other than that, not a clue.

Do you have this problem when you don't use FLMM to launch the game?
What about simply restoring your backup INI files (assuming you made some)?
Can you connect to online games? If you can't maybe it's not your mod.

Just trying to toss out some troubleshooting steps.

I had this happen once. I never did find out what had caused the problem. Instead, I had to UNinstall, then reinstall the game. Really quite amazingly painful experience, especially considering I had just that very day beaten the single player missions. *sigh*
