Engine-Lines (NPC ships)???

Hi,
all NPCships got Engine-lines
my question "can I get them, too?"
Liberty ships got blue lines
Rheinland green lines
etc.

All ships except you have an engine trail.

In Mutliplayer, all the other players have trails except you, and on their screen, you and everyone else has one but they don't.

Not much point to see your own trail since you're usually looking forward.
