DARK LEGION (13 ships)

The general place to discuss MOD''ing Freelancer!

Post Tue Jul 08, 2003 11:01 pm

I'm a DOGA L3 user as well, can hardly believe you made those ships with it, dragon is good, very good. I am assuming you milkshape as has only CMP exporter i know of. Are you having much problems importing and exporting with milkshape, as some of my ships on exporting crash milkshape.

When is mod coming out??

Yeah, I do have some problems when exporting to milkshape. The problem was with DarkFighter (dragon), it was too large for milkshape. I had to delete some parts to make it less than 6000 polys so that I can import. Also I had problems with duplicated peaces of ship so I had to make the ship again. The problem with duplicated parts is that they will not show in the game...so you have to duplicate parts in milkshape only.

Mod wont be coming any time soon, there is still so much to do and 2 of us are doing our best to finish as soon as possible, and because this is our first mod we are still learning so we spend a lot of time reading different tutorials and asking questions in hope somebody will answer.

from doga export to dxf than import dxf to milkshape. Once you texture it and finish hard points export from milkshape to cmp using this exporter.
