Is there a way to make leveling harder?

Hi all forgive me if this is in the wrong forum or if it has been asked
before. I looked and couldn't find it so here gose. Is there a way to
increase the money required to go up a level? (like the demo) I have only just got the
game I admit, but it dose seem to be fairly easy early on and would like
to have more incentive to search the galaxy rather than to just to say
Ive been there. Thanks

There is, edit ptough.ini and alter the networth required to reach a level.

Am i doing something wrong? I used bini to open the ini and copied level 7's value and pasted it in level 5's spot (I'm at level 4) saved it as ptough.ini loaded the game and nothing has changed
