Howdy!

1.) Nice job on all the moding stuff. I think I could even create my own system now, though I never even knew what Freelancer was till couple of days ago.

2.) While describing nicely what all we (newby moders) should do, there is actually not a lot done. => go there, paste this, go there paste that... not that it's not helpfull, but it would actually be usefull, if you'd actually put that things completed, so we (I) could just overwrite those damn files

3.) Cuz of my impatient nature I can't wait till i'm level 3466 to actually buy some good ships/equip. And I also wanted to be able to jump around (jh, gates) after that MS missions are over...continued...

4.) ...what i wanna say is:
- you can access all the gates from the start (initialworld.ini), and after u finish the campain (m13.ini). If it doesn't work.... well i got the infos on this page so...
- you can buy every ship with level 0. their price is the same though, so you have to figure out a way to make cash (I won't say anything else)
- I also changed the "next level" requirements...just deleted 2 numbers in each value...so 200.000+ gives you level 38 (after u did all those missions of course)
- The .INI's are on those addresses, but i reccomend backing up originals 1st

Damn shoulda have tested that stuff before i made a fool of myself. The ships thing works fine, and also the levels.

BUT... i still get an ACCESS denied for jumpholes. dammit. (sorry)... i'll try to use that mod for mission 1 where it unlocks all the stuff... if xerxes says it works, then it should, right?

dunno about mission 13 though...if the holes stay open... i mean... i can start again in m1...but in m13 ?? duh.... if it isn't out yet, i'll post it when i'm there and if it works.

I am replaying using mods. Works great second time around. I think the best mod is the Grand Central Station by Pook...it's in the MOD PAK up at the top. Just download the zip file and copy all the folders inside the system folder to the system folder in your freelancer directory and Voila! You can go make millions in a few minutes. GCS sets up about 10 jumpgates above Manhatten that are usable during SP game.
