Did you actually fly enough missions and trade runs to make $999 million? How long did that take? What would you do with that much money? It sounds like the limit is hard coded. $999,999,999 is 3B9AC9FF so the memory location is at least four bytes and the maximum number that can fit in four bytes is FFFFFFFF which equals $4,294,967,295 using unsigned integers and half that with signed integers. There is probably something in the main program that sets your money back to $999,999,999 if it ever goes above that. Sure, a larger number can be stored as a floating point, but you'd have to decompile the main program to change an integer to a floating point.

I once made it to 999999999 by trading diamonds with the battleship mod.

He probably changed cargo_space to 999,999,999. I'm now at 59 mil with just 999 cargo spaces in my titan.

Is it really that difficult to reach 999,999,999,999? Change the cargo space of any ship to 100000 and start moving Alien Organizms from Omicron Gamma/Theta to Cambridge. You'll reach it in 2-3 runs.

Thanks for the info, Ugnaught... I already bought some expensive cargo and dumped it out in space to get back to 0. Now I'm just enjoying carrying Cardamine and fly around Liberty/Bretonia... just to be hurassed by the Police.

the limti you speak of is a hardcoded varibale stored in the main game exe its a long interger format meaning its the most you can get.
