more conversions! 2 Homeworld Taiidan interceptors

I converted these 2 like the Freespace ones.
They are the Taiidan Light and Heavy interceptors, but without the colors one chooses in the game, so they are just gray.
I hope IGx89 will upload these too. The textures on these ships look better than the Freespace ones. Maybe THat's because there's multiple textures here, not one for the entire ship as in my Freespace ships.

do the big guns on the front actually fire?

No they don't. However, I could just move the weapon hardpoints to be inside the "guns" on the model and change the axis so the guns are immobile. This would create the illusion of the "guns" on the model actually firing if you have some guns installed there. Check out the other ship. It has a torp/cruise disruptor hidden inside a giant cannon on the model, and can't move. If you fire, it looks like it's coming out of the cannon.
So what do you think. On future models, should I just move the hardpoints to match the guns on the model?

Time to read this forum as to how the hell to install this and make it work. I don't even play Homeworld and I love that ship.

Dillinger: go to the FL Mod Manager sticky thread to download FLMM and this.

Kenny: try out my FL Mod Manager v1.0.1; it's been working really well for people
If you still doesn't want to try it, you can still download it from the sticky thread, and rename the archive from hwships.zip.flmod to hwships.zip

Except... If the guns themselves were locked into a forward firing position, you would have a heck of a time lining up on an enemy, wouldn't you? I mean, unless you locked the firing reticule in the center of the screen and used a joystick to fly, right?
