Ok, first things first. Although you were very polite in your request for information, it's obvious that you didn't search the forum first. RULE #1 for this stuff is LOOK FIRST. To answer your question, though, yes it is possible to modify all those things. There are several battleship mods available for download at the FLMM thread (stickied) and there are several threads where you can learn/figure out how to modify the properties of weapons. I experimented the other day with laser weapons that moved at 1500m/s and had a refire rate of approx 40/sec. Woohoo Just look around a bit and you'll be amazed what you'll learn, and how quickly you'll learn it.

heh the only problem is i'm a newb with editing. i can't edit at all. i was hoping someone would give me an easier walkthru.

also, my server is a pure one. i dind't set it up, so i don't want to mess around with it. i just want to use edited ships and stuff on that server so my friends and i can do stuff we wouldn't do on public servers.
