Vertical Slide

OK, dont know if anyone has found this but here is the ability to slide vertically

Add this to keylist.ini

[key
id = USER_MANEUVER_SLIDE_EVADE_UP

[key
id = USER_MANEUVER_SLIDE_EVADE_DOWN

and add this to keymap.ini

nickname = USER_MANEUVER_SLIDE_EVADE_UP

You can choose your own keys, or map them in the options menu of the game.

Now a question, anyone found any details regarding the nomad cargo extender?

I want that baby! I have added my own engines, powerplants, and armour. Along with the usual spped etc tweaking of just about everything alse in the game... I would like to move onto the not so obvious ones... like the cargoi extender, cloak, stealth, jammer etc

Any help appreciated.

Nope, makes your cargo bay bigger, like in Privateer...

But were did you find this command (USER_MANEUVER_SLIDE_EVADE_UP)?
Cause if this maneuver is possible, perhaps even a rolling command is available...

Hmm... rolling... that sounds excellent. If that's possible, then is it also possible to turn off the auto-rolling that occurs when you go back to normal mouse movement (not free-flight, I forgot what it's called cuz I'm a dummy)? All of those abilities combined would make for excellent dog-fighting and flying in general, cuz I'm getting sick of how automated everything seems. Not to mention, without auto-rolling, the game would seem less flat, and a little more like space actually is: three-dimensional.
I guess now I'm going off ranting about how the systems are designed to be FLAT. I had the same complaint with Homeworld. What happened to the up/down aspect of space travel? Seems like a big ocean, where everywhere you need to go is arranged on a single plane. I don't know. Just ignore me.

While scrolling through the ressources.dll last night i found some interesting entrys like "Corkscrew Evade" and "Drastic Evade" (table 76/77). Sounds like autopilotmaneuvers not implemented in the games so far...

I´ve allready tried something, for example i added USER_MANEUVER_DRASTIC_EVADE to keymap and keylist.ini. The result is that in the game options i can now assign a button for "drastic evade".
But, it doesent seem to alter something :-(

The question is that if the EVADE_UP and the CLOAK (in the cloak mod) commands can be used, there MUST be more ;-)
