Learn How To Buy Your Nomad (or any other) Guns Here

this tutorial will tell you how to buy any guns in the game at any base in the game. first off you will need to know your gun's ids name. go here and search for your gun's normal name, and copy the number that is listed with it. the nomad cannon's is 263533.

now open "equipment\weapon_good.ini" and search for that name. change the price to something more reasonable (10 maybe), and also also write down the gun's nickname; the nomad cannon's is "special_nomad_gun02". this tells the computer that the nomad cannon should be sold at a massive disount .

now open up "equipment\market_misc.ini" and search for "Li01_02" - the code name for Pitts. add this line as the third "marketgood" (right below "co_gun01_mark02" ) :

MarketGood = special_nomad_gun02, 0, -1, 10, 10, 0, 1

this tells the computer that pitts is selling the nomad cannon. of course, if you are modding the diamondback, you would need to put the diamondback's nickname in, not the nomad cannon's .

and thats all, seriously. 2 files modded, and it is ready to be bought.

unless anyone has an objection, i am going to keep posting these periodically, in the hopes of educating those who dont know as much about modding as i do. maybe with some luck, someone higher up will extend me the same courtesy the next time i ask a question.

yeh. I think that if someone contributes like you do, then they should be told things. A newbie who comes in asking for old info should not.
