Is there a way to edit the game, via save game files or ini's or whatever, so that i can play all the missions again with my current ship/weapons/level, but make it so the game is harder, so i don't just breeze through it?

well, level isn't needed i guess, need something to know when events are triggered i guess.

Want to make the game harder? change all the ship hitpoints and shields to 100.

and all weapons to 100.

that way 2-shots dead for you. really up the amperage on the game.
