I make two MOD versions since one for the fancy FL MOD Installer Manager; and another for us old timers after stuff gets lost in time and still be able to self-install on its own. I been so busy testing and getting litlle bugs out; I have had not the chance to really look at it.
It seems you placed a eye catching news bullentin to show what it can do. I need to download and examine how to put it in format to work with MOD Manager. I will still have the basic MOD that is either manual install files or use the batch file.
I was using a save game that a gave to couple of people to test; it seems the game stores your level information and mission in a file Restart.fl and Autosave.fl somehow. If I try to load in the plain one file save game by itself; it will prompt with a mission required from level 0 to level up.
I did have it where it was not skipping levels; I let it 'play' through the 13 missions and then I edited the savegame back to level zero and dumped the extra bounty. Using a memory editor, I could do this without leaving Manhatten, so universe is still unexplored and all jumpgates and holes (and some that story deactivates from OpenGate MOD v 1.0) are made open again.
For some reason, if I start this on a clean install, it works great; except it wants to skip levels where mission would have been. I wished I knew what command it was telling it to level up player (it is hard coded?) I had it working -it is stored in that Restart.fl since if you remove it or anything it will prompt to do a mission.
If you do not mind it skipping levels as 0,2,4,6,8,10,13,15,17,18 then it proceeds as normal to table in ptough.ini; before that it ignores it. I had it where it would level with ptough.ini 0,1,2,3,4,5, etc to 38. It is related in this files. I really want that fixed before I release it. If it is possible.
