Edit the file freelancer/exe/freelancer.ini
search for the word startup -- on mine it wasnt to far from the top
put a ; before those 3 lines saying moviefile=


now it should look something like this

[startup
;movie_file = movies\MGS_Logo_Final.wmv
;movie_file = movies\DA_Logo_Final.wmv
;movie_file = movies\FL_Intro.wmv
.
.
.


and thats all there is to it. no more annoying startup movies.
