Freighter Mod Request

I have been enjoyed this type of game since discovering WC and Privateer. I am not technically proficient to mod on my own and would request if some one would create a mod for a Deavy Duty Freighter with the Dromedary as the base unit, some thing like a Titan specs for a freighter. I user to trick out the Taurus in Privateer and see how far I could make it last. Thanks in advance

the infinity shipyard mod will add new custom made freighters into the game, they will all have various weaknesses and strengths. as soon as we are able to import new ships into the game they will be available for download okay. check this site out Infinity shipyards

Boomer: there are more than enough examples and tutorials on how to add new ships on this site... it really isn't that hard.... maybe you should just shop around some...

I modded-in a new clydesdale, which was easy, the interesting part is editing the infocards, but once you have it figured it's not that hard either...

easiest is to find all the code refering to you ship of choice, and then copying it and giving it another name (nickname).... everything stays to same in the game, and you just add a new ship...

just check some of the posts here, you'll need a few files, like bini and ini-referer and reshack.... and then just try...

Good luck!

I took a look at the site. Looks interesting. The ship designs seemed to be influenced by ships from Wing Commander, which I have all enjoyed. I look forward to trying out those designs.
