Shields not working on gunship..what to do?

I have a little problem with my tiny selfbuilt yacht (kusari gunship).

The shields do not work. I tried every hardpoint on the ship...but nothing.
I can mount the shields, the slots are there, but they do not work when flying around. I'm not quite sure if this problem occurs with every gunship, i tested Britania and Kusari, both no shields.

Someone an idea?

do you have shield_link in your shiparch.ini?

Thx a lot for the help! I fixed the link thingy and it works now.
