Need some help with editing...

The worst thing happend today... I spent over 3 days working on modifying the 'market_misc' file so it would allow purchasing weapons at any levels..

Well, i edited it.. tried it... AND IT DIDNT WORK! so.. what file do I need to modify for what I want to do?

you're in the right spot... give me an example of what you put in the file and anything else you did.

It's ok... The file never got copied/overwritten (original never got overwritten with the 'modified' one).

Dunno why, the setup (i make mods for some games, with setups and give it to family and friends...) never copied it... :-/

I also modified it so it doesnt care what ur reputation level is. The planet could hate you show much that it would rather blow up than sell stuff to you.

Well... Ofcourse... You gotta be neutral with the faction to be able to land/dock with the planet or station (or battle ship...).

Yay! Took me a long time to do it too... until I realized there was an easier way (i was doing it line by line...).

Notepad comes with a 'find and replace' .. The only draw backs was that I couldnt 'find & replace' level 10 items (cause they're used elsewhere in the file..) so I had to do that one line by line.. (its better to do 3 in 30 lines than do all of em

I would like to release it.. but my site is currently down

(the host... a friend... server went poof I think..) Im gonna check this site to see if I can upload a file or send it via email (i think its only 500K...)..
