Model making?
Is there yet a system for adding models to the game, such as converting 3D Studio MAX (or Lightwave, Maya, what have you) files to what the FL engine utilizes? At that, what sorts of files DOES the game use? Has anyone created tools to take a ship model and apply features to it, such as weapon mount and engine sprite coordinates?
Basically I just want to get familiar with the FL engine's modeling department, as that's my field... looking forward to perhaps adding new ships to the game.
If this has already been discussed dont hesitate to just point me in the right direction; I appreciate any effort to help enlighte a FL-editing newbie =)
