This is a questions about editing Freelancer ini files.

First of all, I'm so sorry my terrible English. I'm not native.

My question is....

Ah.... This site is very useful! ^^

I would like to know after editing ini flie(compressed ini --->uncompressed ini file), how to convert uncompressed ini file to compressed file again. I want to compress uncompressed ini files again.

In my experience, uncompressed ini files need more loading time. So I would like to compress again.

Question 2.

I creat jumpgate New york <---> New London.

as for question 1,

fl uses the uncompressed files, no problem... it just needs the .ini file, doesn't matter if it's uncompressed...

Well, he said he feels that uncompressed ini's are loading slower... but I find that hard to believe. The game sure as hell decompresses them itself before using them, too. Into the RAM that is, most probably - but it's still decompression.

So... I agree, no need to recompress.
