Getting tired of hitting esc so you can get to the purchase screen quicker? To the bar quicker? etc,.

Modify the perfoptions.ini in your documents\my game\freelancer directory:

change:
skip_transition_scripts = 1.00

to

skip_transition_scripts = 0.00

Sounds backwards...works great.
