Question about commodities

Anybody knows what param controls when a commodity is *highly perishable* (such as alien organisms or luxury food)?

Thank you very much, I found out on my own.
In case somebody else is interested:

select_equip.ini

this can be found for (eg.) alien_organisms

[Commodity

pod_appearance = cargopod_red
loot_appearance = lootcrate_red
decay_per_second = 1 ;<= changing to zero prevents them from being perishable
