does the id matter?
cause i usually copy things and change them but i leave thi id and nothing bad happened.
i changed the id for the guns u get at the beginning to 1 and nothing happened

sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and chains excite me!

I have one question. Im making a MOD for Freelancer, and i want to know this:

My MOD shall do so Rheinland comes to Liberty, don't say why, this ya have to figure out by ya self, and a RH Battleship called "Battleship RHN Thor" shall move in on the far side of Manhatten. This shall be controlled by the RH Navy. Now, how i give this its own ids number, so in game it displayes "Battleship RHN Thor"?

And, this MOD will also add a lot of Rumors (maybe in another version), does somebody know where a Tutorial for adding rumors is?

Fantastic work this, mate

I got a question tho'.....does any of this have any relation to the 'fl-server-errors.log' file?

I've got errors here I'm trying to track down: eg...

E:\FL\Scratch\Source\Common\Archtype.cpp(60): ***ERROR: ArchDB::Get(3123479374)failed

and

E:\FL\Scratch\Source\Common\Archtype.cpp(73): ***ERROR: ArchDB::Get0x8db36609)failed. ID=-1917622775


Can't work these out at all. Any help....

Hey guys, you know what?The nicknames in weapon_equip.ini were WAY different than that!And they don't use just #s, they use stuff like "missile01_mark02_ammo"!
I want the actual nicknames here, okay!

Hey Everyone. I just completed the last or next to last version of the Freelancer Misc. Database Excel File. This database contains most information modders use when creating their mods. For those of you who have used this before you know how helpful it is. Although you may have thought the older version was helpful, this new version is totally revamped from the older version. It now includes a better organized layout, and what I like to call "The Easy Reference System". Almost all data in here now comes with it's IDS Number, Name of the Piece of Equipment and It's all in one Line. The data is also mostly Alphabetized by name for easier referencing. Newb modder or Ace modder should have this file, makes work go allot quicker.

yes there is you need fled_ids get it at http://www.lancersreactor.com/t/Downloa ... asp?ID=458
that is what you need if you are creating a mod you have to change the directory
